We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer who thrives in a startup environment and wants to play a foundational role in building Interval’s core product. You’ll work across the tech stack from designing intuitive front-end experiences to building scalable backend systems and integrations that power our AI workflows. This role requires autonomy, problem solving, and the ability to collaborate closely with both sales and engineering teams.

    Interval AI is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design and build the systems that power our AI driven collections platform. This role will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, creating intuitive user experiences while ensuring the platform is scalable, secure, and reliable. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning projects end to end, from building customer facing dashboards to optimizing backend performance and integrations.     Position title: Full Stack Software Engineer

    Position overview:
    We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to take ownership of building and scaling our core platform. This role will work across the entire stack developing clean, responsive front-end experiences while also designing and maintaining robust backend systems and integrations. You’ll move quickly from idea to execution (most likely pushing daily), collaborating closely with product and engineering teammates to ship features that directly impact customers. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced startup environment, enjoys working on both front-end and back-end challenges, and can operate with a high degree of autonomy. You’ll have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, shape architecture, and play a key role in building a product from the ground up.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications across the full stack
    • Develop responsive, intuitive front-end interfaces for customer facing workflows
    • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to define and implement features
    • Build and optimize backend services, APIs, and data integrations
    • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
    • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the stack

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of professional experience as a full stack or software engineer
    • Proficiency in TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks (React)
    • Strong experience with backend development using Node.js
    • Familiarity with Supabase
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a small team setting
    • Must be available to work In Person at the Interval office
    • Experience using Linear

    Preferred:

    • Experience working at an early stage startup
    • Experience with authentication, authorization, and security best practices
    • Background in SaaS or compliance heavy industries
    • Strong eye for UI/UX and ability to translate designs into functional interfaces
    • Vibe coding is a tool not a full time position
